Susan Taulia is a local business owner and audiologist with a passion for clay! She started her clay journey with a community workshop in Iowa City back in 1995 as much needed stress relief. She eventually went back to school and earned a BFA in ceramics from the University of Mississippi under the tutelage of Matt Long. Currently, she mostly focuses on her day job, but enjoys making functional pottery to support the YWCA's Women's Shelter through the Clay Bowl Fundraiser. She also enjoys making pots for gifts for friends and family, and for her patients for open houses hosted by the Lafayette Hearing Center. One of these days she'll have more time to make a lot more stuff...but in the short run this is where she's at with her work.
