Exploring the possibilities within ceramics, and how contrast and context allow for exploration and discovery. The featured artists were asked to utilize distinctive approaches that illustrate the richness and depth ceramics offers as a medium. From alternative firing techniques, glaze combination, to clay bodies, layering, texturing, and mix media elements, this show offers a glimpse into the intersections encountered, and the connections made by all ceramic artists on their path to interpreting the world around.

The Clay Bowl raises funds for the YWCA and the Domestic Violence Intervention & Prevention Program (DVIPP). Potters donate bowls each year for the Clay Bowl and the YWCA caters food for patrons to eat. We are so proud of our community for coming together to serve such a meaningful mission.
