Mark Nafziger’s lecture and hands-on workshop

We will explore Mark's oxide and slip trailing techniques that create his intricate and beautifully distinctive surface decoration designs. Mark will be sharing his tools, patterns, and formulas as we each practice on one of his small thrown bowls.
Schedule: Friday night, May 31st 7 pm – 8:30 pm: Meet and greet with Mark. This is free and open to anyone. There will be a brief presentation and a display of his finished work with the option to purchase. Saturday Workshop, June 1st 10 am – 5:00 pm Demonstrations, lunch, hands-on slip-work lesson followed by a chance to chat with Mark or purchase from his collection. Location: Lilly Hall, Purdue. The room and parking directions will be sent prior to the workshop.
